Dragon Ball: Xenoverse 2 Announces Open Beta!

Dragon Ball: Xenoverse 2 is nearly here but with two months still to go, you might be saying to yourself “I want it now! Well, you will be happy to know that Publisher Bandai Namco announced that there will be an open beta. This beta will feature a new character that was not in the previous Xenoverse, Majin Vegeta! (If you are a DB fan you will know how awesome that is) Alongside Vegeta will be Expert Mission multiplayer mode.

The Expert Multiplayer Mission mode will task six players against giant NPC bosses (hopefully its not just Great Apes again…). Furthermore, Single player will feature double the amount of quests than its predecessor, Xenoverse. This also goes with twice the number of parallel quests, and during these quests will be a chance to experience the new rare item drop system, which contains costumes and accessories.

When players are not out fighting they will have a chance to explore the new area hub, Conton City. This game hub is Seven times larger than the first game’s hub. Conton City allows players to accept quests, train their character and purchase items.

Unfortunately, the beta’s release date has not been announced, though it will be definitely soon. My guess would be mid-September due to the game coming out for PS4, Xbox One and PC on October 25th. Last bit of information, Xenoverse 2 is to feature a cameo appearance and music remixes by the well-known DJ, Steve Aoki.

What are your thoughts on Xenoverse 2 getting a beta? Are you excited for the new six player mission? Looking forward to playing / against Majin Vegeta? Let us know in the comments!
