Hitman Absolution Coming To Xbox Backwards Compatibility; IO Interactive Wants To Bring More

While everyone’s waiting for the next page of the story for Agent 47 in March with Hitman. Those interested in the previous adventures of 47 will be able to do so now because Hitman: Absolution will be coming to Xbox One’s backwards compatibility.

In a recent interview with WorthPlaying, IO Interactive senior director of PR Reilly Brennan and studio head Hannes Seifert had confirmed that Hitman: Absolution will be coming to Xbox One backwards compatibility in the future, though neither knowing the timeframe or being able to confirm a release date of exact just yet.

Though both Brennan and Seifert both expressed IO Interactive’s support for bringing over their titles to Xbox One’s Backwards Compatibility. With Absolution being in the fray for Backwards Compatibility, both IO representatives stated that the company “would love to eventually see all of the studio’s Xbox 360 titles enabled on Xbox One.”

Hitman: Absolution is currently available on PS3, Xbox 360, PC, and Mac.
