Another week another rumor, this time for Rise of the Tomb Raider. Rise of the Tomb Raider has been long known that it will be making its way onto the PlayStation 4, however it was never mentioned as to when. Rumour has it the game will be released on the PlayStation 4 on October 11th and retail in the region of 71 Euro which translates to roughly $80 (£60). Italian website, Everyeye, has also managed to grab a hold of a screenshot of GameStop Italy’s store database via an employee, which you can check out below along with the photo supplied by NeoGAF:
It was originally noted on NeoGAF by the user piccio_ssi where the thread shows two photographs. One of the photographs are of GameSpots Italian website where it shows the game listed for 71 euros along with the release date of October 11th. There is a second screenshot in the thread which is of a photo taken by an employee that shows the game in the company’s database. The photograph shows the same date however it has the term ‘D1’ at the end. The term is most likely Day One meaning that there will be different versions of the game and could explain the hike in price however the site shows the standard box art, the question is; is it just a placeholder art? – if so what versions are there and if not, why the price hike?
