Top 8 Must Have Games Coming February 2016

At this time you’re either jumping from all the big hit games that released in November or cleaning out your backlog from this past summer, whatever you’re doing enjoy it for the next 4-6 weeks because  some really good games are coming again. No, nothing is coming in January with exception of a few  independent games with a cool name or another Resident Evil remaster that you weren’t really checking for. January has absolutely nothing that is pre-order worthy, let alone rent worthy. February, however is full of games you might consider picking up on day one.  There’s about 24 or 25 games coming in February but they’re 8that are quality releases. Some of the titles are completely under the radar while others are getting the usual buzz.

Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 is the first licensed Naruto video game for the PS4 and Xbox One . Like previous games in the Ultimate Ninja series of Naruto titles, Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 is a 3D fighting game where players battle as characters straight from the popular manga and anime series complete with their special abilities and secret techniques. The game revolves around 1-on-1 battles in arenas with destructible environments with the potential for ring-outs, as players use both their character’s attacks and items scattered throughout the area to defeat their opponents. In addition to a campaign mode based on the storyline from the manga and anime series, Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 will continue to feature offline and online  one-on-one multiplayer modes.

Mighty No. 9 will follow in Mega Man’s footsteps, offering a 2D action-platformer featuring all of the mechanics that build the Blue Bomber into what he is today. Developed by Comcept, Inafune’s new indie studio, Mighty No. 9 will either prove that there’s still an audience in this day and age which craves the fine-tuned, precise action of Mega Man, or show that Capcom may have been right to put him out to pasture.

Honestly I wasn’t ready for another Far Cry game mainly because I wasn’t looking for another one, but after seeing this trailer I have reasons to be excited.

Primal brings players back to 10,000 B.C. during an age of warring tribes fighting for survival. Players become hunter Takkar, the last surviving member of his tribe, and explore a new open world sandbox set in the Stone Age-inspired world of Oros. Takkar must learn to hunt and tame the savage creatures of Oros including woolly mammoths and sabretooth tigers, while fighting and interacting with other tribes of hunters.

3. Street Fighter V

Like Street Fighter IV, SFV features 3D character models and backgrounds, but plays on a traditional 2D plane like the classic arcade game ; the camera shifts and zooms in or out to highlight special moves and other match highlights. While the character models appear to have been overhauled, SFV continues to leverage the sumi-e style for visual effects.
